๐Ÿ“ธ In Pictures: UK troops back from Kabul, Afghanistan

Personnel from the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force arrived back in the UK after the conclusion of Operation PITTING

--

Operation PITTING was the biggest military evacuation for over 70 years that enabled over 15,000 people to leave Afghanistan.

The men and women have worked tirelessly over the last two weeks, doing all they can to evacuate those most vulnerable. We are immensely proud of the work they have done.

On Sunday 29th August an RAF Voyager and C-17 aircraft arrived back at RAF Brize Norton carrying military and MOD personnel and freight.

Take a look at their journey home ๐Ÿ“ธ
