In Pictures: Exercise Hedgehog 🦔

Exercise Hedgehog is the largest multi-national NATO exercise ever held in the Baltic state of Estonia.

It involves around 15,000 troops from the Estonian Defence Force and from 10 NATO allies and partner countries.

The UK have contributed 700 troops formed into two battle groups : the Royal Welsh and the Royal Tank Regiment.

The exercise that takes place every four years is designed to test the ability of the combined participating nations’ armies to work with each other.
