In Pictures: Baltic Protector

Between May and June 2019, nearly 2,000 UK Armed Forces personnel deployed to the Baltic Sea for a series of exercises in support of European security.

Baltic Protector involved nine nations:

🇬🇧 UK

🇩🇰 Denmark

🇪🇪 Estonia

🇫🇮 Finland

🇱🇻 Latvia

🇱🇹 Lithuania

🇳🇱 Netherlands

🇳🇴 Norway

🇸🇪 Sweden

The deployment formed a key part of the UK, NATO and Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF).

The Royal Air Force, Army Air Corps, Royal Navy, and Royal Marines were tested in various gruelling exercises as part of the NATO Baltic Protector deployment in Estonia.
