The Royal Marines have trained and operated in harsh conditions since their inception, among the harshest is the Arctic mountains of Norway.

Royal Marines are currently deployed to Norway for their annual winter training exercise in the country training to survive and fight in the sub-zero climate. But deep into the Norwegian mountains, you will find a different kind of marine, the Mountain Leaders.

The UK Armed Forces are ready to respond to the changing Arctic environment and how this may affect emerging threats in the region.
