More than 300 British peacekeepers recently patrolled local towns and villages. Here’s what that looked like…

Boots on the ground is key to this operation.

The patrol helped the peacekeepers understand the problems and security concerns within local areas.

Their presence also helped to reassure the local population that the United Nations is here to help. Finally, it will deter any terrorist activity.

Last year, Lieutenant Stock helped provide support to the Thames Valley Local Resilience Forum (LRF) who were in charge of managing COVID-19 testing in the region

The Armed Forces have supported the NHS since the beginning of the pandemic. Royal Navy reservist Lieutenant Stock was just one of many who selflessly took time to help in the fight against COVID-19.

Royal Air Force Reservist Senior Aircraft Technician (SAC(T)) Proffitt has just returned from Cyprus where her work has helped operations in the Middle East. Ships and units from 11 countries joined up off the coast of Portugal for Exercise Steadfast Defender.

The training saw the UK’s Carrier Strike Group meeting with allied ships for the large-scale defensive exercise designed to test the alliance’s ability to rapidly deploy forces to meet possible future threats.
